Eligibility Conditions for IIFPT, Thanjavur Recruitment 2019

Educational Qualification
  1. Adjunct Faculty – Food Process Engineering – M Tech./M.Sc./PhD with specialization in Post Harvest Technology/ Food Technology/ Food Engineering/ Food science/Food science and Technology/Food science and Nutrition or Agricultural Engineering / Chemical Engineering specialized in Food Process Engineering.
  2. Physical Education Teacher – Contractual – Good Academic record with Master Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale). A minimum of one year of experience.
  3. SRF (Active Intelligent Packaging system with antimicrobial agents for fruits and vegetables)– M.Tech in Food Process Engineering / Food Science and Technology / Food science & Nutrition / Biotechnology.
  4. SRF (Development of non-dairy symbiotic food to ensure food safety & combat hidden hunger deficiency)– M.Tech in Food Process Engineering / Food Science & Technology / Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering / Nanotechnology / Allied Disciplines or M.Sc. in the above disciplines with NET/SLET or Ph.D in the above disciplines.
  5. SRF (Development of sensors for quality evaluation coconut oil)

    – M.Tech in Food Technology/Food Process Engineering/ Food Science & Technology/Processing and Food Engineering.

  6. PA (Development of sensors for quality evaluation coconut oil)– Bachelor degree in Food Technology/Food Process Engineering/Food Science & Technology/ Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  7. SRF (Enzymatic improvement of bioavailability of minerals, proteins and soluble fiber from millets)– M.Tech. in Food Process Engineering/ Food Science and Technology/ Nanotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in the above disciplines with NET/SLET or Ph.D in the above disciplines.
  8. PA (Enzymatic improvement of bioavailability of minerals, proteins and soluble fiber from millets)– B.Tech. in Food Process Engineering/ Food Science and Technology/ Nanotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in Food Science and Nutrition/ Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology.
  9. JRF (Enabling Start-Ups through value Chain Approach for Under Utilized Crops of Arid Region in Tamil Nadu)– M.Tech in Food technology/ Food Process Engineering/ Food Science & Technology/Biotechnology/ Chemical Engineering.
Age Limits (as on date of interview)
  • Adjunct Faculty:  Less than 70 years of age
  • Physical Education Teacher: Less than 50 years
  • SRF/JRF/PA: 35 years for men and 40 years for women
